I have tried about a dozen protective thermal sprays. Half are too greasy. The other half have too much alcohol and causes breakage. This is perfect no matter what shampoo, rinse-out conditioner, or leave-in conditioner I use. I am African American, and I use it on my two teenage girls as well. The key is not to spray to close to the hair and to do a quick spritz for the whole section about to be flat ironed. If you saturate the hair piece, fan it dry or spread to more hair before placing flat iron on it. One other note, put a towel on the floor if you’re doing hair on a wooden or tile floor so that you don’t slip & fall later.

Do you recommend? Just got a silk press and it??s poofing already
Answer: Prior to my Keratin treatment, I used this product and it did help some to minimize frizz. Depending on the level of humidity.

How do you use this product? Is it sprayed on before flat-ironing or after styling?
Answer: I spray it on each part that i flat iron and after styling. I use the thermasmooth guard before blow drying also.

Should I use with wet or dry hair?
Answer: I use it on dry hair. Really adds shine. I also use Garnier Fructis Brilliantine Shine which is a very similar product in my opinion and also works well.

Does this mean it is forty container of 50 wipes
Answer: This is a single container with 40wipes in it.

Do they all come with no pump action,?.i want one that pump as it should
Answer: I??ve never had one that had no pump action. However, it has been several years since I purchased this product so perhaps something changed, such as using another company for their packaging??!?? ???????
